FutureFeed appoints new CFO

FutureFeed is pleased to announce the appointment of James Stewart as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

With an impressive background in financial services and technology spanning 25 years, James brings a wealth of experience. His extensive experience in Europe, Asia, and Australia in CFO, COO and Managing Director roles gives James a deep understanding of driving commercial success and expansion of business into new markets.

James joins FutureFeed having most recently held the CFO role for an ASX listed technology company which successfully launched several new technology products, particularly across the European and North American markets.

FutureFeed was established by CSIRO to harness the groundbreaking discovery that incorporating small amounts of Asparagopsis seaweed in livestock feed can significantly reduce methane emissions by 80% or more. As this revolutionary science is delivered to the global market, the company enters an exciting phase of growth which will deliver wide-ranging benefits to producers, agriculture and consumers while also contributing meaningfully to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale.

"I am deeply honored to join this remarkable company that stands at the vanguard of exciting developments in the global agriculture industry and bringing positive impact to society as a whole. I am looking forward to playing a role in the success and commercialisation of this truly groundbreaking science,” Mr Stewart said.

“Adding James' expertise, we are confident in FutureFeed's ability to achieve our ambitious goals and drive meaningful change in sustainable agriculture,” FutureFeed CEO Alex Baker said.
