Standards Australia publishes product quality standard for Asparagopsis

On March 7th, Standards Australia released the new Standard AS5404:2025, titled ‘Natural Bromoform Additives Product Quality – Products Derived from Asparagopsis’. This standard marks a significant milestone in the development of the Asparagopsis industry, providing comprehensive guidelines to ensure the safe and effective supply of methane-reducing feed additives for agriculture.

The development of this standard was a collaborative effort, with contributions from several key stakeholders, including FutureFeed. Their input has been instrumental in shaping a robust framework that addresses critical aspects of product quality.
